Memorials and Museums

Museums and memorials are great learning stops along your way.  Intore encourages stops at the museums and memorials so that you an better understand the culture and history of Rwanda.  Museums offer a look back at how Rwanda was before and during colonization.  The memorials will help you to better understand the scope of the 1994 genocide against the Tutsi and how Rwanda has moved forward to recover and rebuild.

Most of the museums and memorials limited or do not allow photography. Others allow it if paid for.
